HKPost Stamps - Revitalisation of Historic Buildings in Hong Kong IIThe first Augmented Reality (AR) technology stamp in Hong Kong
The Hongkong Post’s first application of augmented reality (AR) technology in stamp design was released. By using the mobile app ” HKPostStamp” to scan the stamp set on“Revitalisation of Historic Buildings in Hong Kong II”, the 3D models of the buildings on the stamps will be displayed, and 360-degree photos of these buildings will also be provided. Moreover, these 3D models of the buildings will be superimposed on a real-time background that changes from day to dusk to night, creating a brand new and immersive experience in stamp collecting.
AR stamps GO revitalisedThe first interactive game for Hong Kong Post
We has developed 6 mini games to enhance public understanding and appreciation of those six historic buildings in Hong Kong. Through the mobile application, the user need to visit the six historic sites (Viva Blue House, Oi!, Green Hub, Stone Houses Family Garden, PMQ and Mallory Street Revitalisation Project) featured on the “Revitalisation of Historic Buildings in Hong Kong II” special stamps, find the designated signage or feature of the building at each revitalisation project and then scan it with the “ARstampsGOrevitalised” app to start the game. You will be awarded a virtual stamp for each of the revitalisation projects after finishing each game and may redeem a prize after collecting the full set of six virtual stamps.
